Craft of Meaning - Design led studio, surface patterns, photography, bespoke art, storytelling

The English Summer. Peak District Encouters.

Peak Summer unfolds in quiet abundance.

Fields soften under long light, and gardens reach their fullest expression — layered, generous, and rich in colour. As the season matures, the boundary between cultivated spaces and the surrounding landscape becomes less defined, allowing structure and natural growth to exist side by side.

This collection explores that balance between the shaped and the untamed, translating the character of the English summer landscape into considered compositions. It brings together a sense of ease, depth, and subtle movement — designed to sit naturally within interior spaces while retaining a strong connection to place and season.

Concept embroidery, textile and product pieces were created to explore how these designs can be reimagined with depth, texture, and materiality.

They form part of our licensing and bespoke collaboration portfolio, offering glimpse into how the collection may translate across surfaces and applications.
